Over the past 2 years, we've had the luxury of making 2 backpacking trips, one to The Narrows @ Zion in Utah and the other to Havasupai in Arizona. This year, to continue this young tradition, we had spent 5 days trekking through 40 miles of insane beauty in the back country of Yosemite carrying roughly 30lbs of food and equipment on our backs. To say the least, we had the most amazing time as most people would out in Yosemite and are super excited to share these photos (taken by us and most by our brother company @ thehempcoop.org in hopes of continually inspiring our friends & family to visit Yosemite, especially if they haven't already! =)

Out of the 14 that trekked together, 7 of us fell behind and kinda got lost so we had to set camp an hour after sunset not realizing that the other group was only a mile ahead. At that point, we were 12 hours in so probably couldn't go much longer anyways. =(

We camped out the night right before Lake Merced on the huge flat rocks coming down from Lake Volgelsang.

After the 4 days of treacherous hiking, a lot of us were physically and mentally beaten and for the sake of the group's overall health, we decided to end the trip prematurely. Some of us weren't very happy with the decision because they didn't get enough of Yosemite but that just gives us more reasons to return to this beautifully maintained wonder of the world. If ya need any tips of the planning process to go on this trip, please feel free to reach out and we'll give ya all the tips we've came across that could be very useful to ya! <3 p="">
