Organic Hemp Pet Bed
It’s pretty much a fact that we don’t deserve dogs. They’re loyal, sweet, and improbably happy all. the. damn. time. But let’s face it, they can be kind of smelly. Have you ever lived with a dog? Yeah, you get it. The good news: hemp is an antimicrobial powerhouse, which gives our all natural doggie bed anti-stink superpowers. Made with organic cotton, French linen, hemp denim and muslin, and stuffed with organic kapok and natural rubber, our doggie bed is free of icky polyester and foam stuffings. The whole bed is washable & dryable on LOW temperature, though it is suggested to only wash the outer cover (w/ color) as often as needed. Only wash inner cover w/ stuffing when soiled.
These fabrics are extremely durable & antimicrobial. They do not harbor bacteria & therefore combats odors. Outer cover if washed weekly can last 2+ years with normal daily use. Despite being of high quality, unfortunately it's not designed to be chew proof.
When we set out to make our pug Max a dog bed, we knew we wanted it to be durable and safe, not off-gassing toxic chemicals from polyester covers and foam stuffings. We also wanted it to look good and not so “dog beddy.” But most importantly: we wanted him to love it. After three years of our beloved Maxxie sleeping in, chewing bones on, and burrowing into, we can truly say he loves it — and it’s stood the test of time.
The inner cover, which is made of organic cotton and hemp muslin, is stuffed with organic kapok and natural rubber. The outer cover, made of beautiful French linen and hemp denim is durable enough to withstand a dog that likes to dig his bed (don’t they all?), and is also washable. You and your pup can rest easy knowing that the the Bad Doggie Bed is all natural, safe, breathable, and doesn’t harbor stinky stenches and bacteria.
